About
What is EUE?
The EUE in EUE/Screen Gems stands for Elliot Unger Elliot. The company was named after commercial directors Mike and Steve Elliot, and William Unger. Together the trio started a prolific commercial production company in 1948, often mentioned in AMC’s hit show MAD MEN, and has been in the advertising and production support business ever since.
Past, Present, and Future
Today, EUE/Screen Gems provides worldwide production, studios, sound stages and technological infrastructure and support for major motion pictures, films, commercials and television shows and television series.

The company has headquarters in New York, and owns studio production campuses in Wilmington NC, Atlanta GA, as well as a lighting and grip company in Charleston SC, and a commercial production studio in Buenos Aires. Our original content development division, EUE/Sokolow, is based in New York and Los Angeles.
